We visited Engineer's Day to promote and publicise engineering as a profession.

Engineers' Day * Day of the engineers

The basic idea of the Engineers' Day: to promote the next generation of engineers and to make the outstanding achievements of engineers visible to the public.

Justification: Engineers are capable of making an important contribution to lead our society positively into the future.

As personalities who deal with the topics of technology, nature and society on a daily basis, they can create well-founded solutions that interact with each other.

The complexity of the interaction is constantly increasing, which is why more and more engineers are needed to meet these challenges.

An effective and active instrument for directly promoting young talent is the comprehensive and regular visualisation of engineers as personalities and the communication of their achievements.

Every engineer can and should be proud of his or her own achievements. The positive attitude towards the profession and the awareness of the personal contribution that engineers make to society and the national economy will be transferred to the perception of the population and to the next generation. Engineers' Day proactively promotes this awareness and perception.

Engineers should make their performance understandable via the effect and the benefit and not via the explanation of the problem!
