Robot precision, human ingenuity: mastering handling solutions
Today, handling systems, automatic assembly machines and robots must be adaptable to diverse products and increasingly complex production environments in a short time and at low cost. Flexibility is ensured by the modular design of machines and systems and by equally modular automation solutions. In this respect, BRO Engineering GmbH plays a decisive role.
Robot types
Our automation solutions are built on advanced technology. Depending on the nature of the task and the requirements of our customers, we make an individual selection of the most suitable manipulator system, robot type, controller and software. Over the past years, we have gained extensive experience in the development and design of robotic systems using various robot models that are usually preferred by our customers, including ABB, FANUC, KUKA and YASKAWA.
Recently, the price-performance ratio of robots has improved significantly, leading to an increased replacement of conventional target systems. Based on our forecast calculations, we are able to offer customised robot solutions to meet automation needs.
Robot milling cell
Our staff completed the design, full implementation and commissioning of the robotic unit shown in just five months, using a KUKA robot provided by the customer. The result of this innovation is to enable high-precision milling of plastic body interior parts, and in the process we also developed the expertise to enable the subsequent machining of six different parts on a moving table. The parts are positioned on the six-metre-long traversing table, with the previous fixtures replaced by two windows with two light curtains. Maintenance is carried out through two safety doors.
Palletising UHT robot cell
This palletising UHT robotic cell is also a highly specialised automation system used in the food and beverage industry. We have also designed this robotic cell to handle products with ultra-high temperature (UHT) preservation technology and stack them on pallets or in packages.
